Painting

Painting cabinets, built-in units, or furniture can look cheap if not done well.  The professionals spray on finishes because it offers the smoothest and most consistent finish.   There are two ways you can get a fine painted finish.  One is with cans of spray paint and the other is with an HVLP spray gun.  If you only have one project, stick with a spray can.  If you're doing several projects or something large, consider using an HVLP spray gun or hiring a professional to do the job.
